Food Drive!

I just wanted to send out a huge thank you to our community for 600 lbs of food! I also want to thank everyone who helped out by trudging through the rain and collecting all those bags. This was a true group effort, and you were all valuable in making it happen.

I was especially excited looking at the pile last night because I see it as an awesome start of something that we can do year after year. If we can get that much this year, then we can get more next year, involve more of the community, and unite more people together to work for God's Kingdom in practical ways.

But let's always remember that as we move forward, this is only one small piece of the many ways we can, and will, spread God's love into the world around us.
